I'm 63 years old, a second-generation San Franciscan. Both my grandparents on my dad's side emigrated from France to San Francisco about the turn of the last century. My mother's family emigrated from Ireland to Ohio about the same time . My parents met about the end of World War II and settled in Millbrae, on the San Francisco peninsula.
I graduated BFA from CalArts in 1975 and was dissuaded by the faculty in my ambition for a career as an actor. I work as a theatrical stagehand and am a member of IATSE Local 16. I'm married and have two kids on either side of twenty-one.
I've used Apple computers since the 1980s and currently work on an Intel Core i5 desktop with OS 10.7.3.
My biggest contribution to Wikipedia is the Magic Theatre's page, which I created from scratch. Other contributions include revisions of the playwright Sam Shepard's page and the great rock concert production designer and manager Chip Monck's page. Most recently I revised the American Conservatory Theater's page.
