Beginning in October 2008, Walt Disney Studios Home Entertainment presented its first Blu-ray combo pack with the release of Sleeping Beauty. [1] A Blu-ray/DVD combo pack can come in one of two forms. First, a combo pack can be a DVD and Blu-ray. The second type includes a DVD, Blu-ray, and a digital download copy of the movie. According to Lieberman Research Worldwide, 77% of consumers polled feel that a DVD/Blu-Ray combo pack is a much better bargain than an individual Blu-ray or DVD.[2] Walt Disney Studios Home Entertainments continues to sell DVD's and Blu-rays as Combo Packs.
