As of January 2014, I'm semi-retired.

What this means is that I might:

  1. Edit only infrequently
  2. Edit in more or less the same way as before, only less
  3. Stop editing altogether at some point in the near future

While all outcomes are possible, I'd say #1 is as likely as an alcoholic having just one drink. :-) Of course, I might still return to my old editing habits, but I feel this is very unlikely.

I've come to realize that time I've been spending here is detrimental to other stuff in my life that is or should be much more important.

Having said that, I've always been fascinated by Wikipedia, the way it works, and all that it stands for. I don't think that's ever going to change. Also, I've enjoyed working with my fellow editors and I still do.

I wish you all happy editing. I'll still be around for the time being, don't worry... GregorB (talk) 18:46, 21 January 2014 (UTC)

As of March 2014, I'm no longer semi-retired.
My semi-retirement has turned out to be a resounding failure. In a good way, one might say: except for a month or so of inactivity, it has been business as usual. Due to some changes in real life, I now have significantly more free time than before, and spending it here is no longer a hindrance to anything. So, for the time being, I'm officially back in my full capacity. We'll see how things unfold... GregorB (talk) 12:17, 17 March 2014 (UTC)
