November 2023[edit]

  1. Teatro Metropólitan: nominated at AfD; notified Sofmartz (talk · contribs) 04:00, 3 November 2023 (UTC)
    • Reason: Fails WP:NGEO. Only source that could potentially be described as RS is [1], all others are self-published sources, or IMDb (and passing mention to boot). Fermiboson (talk) 04:00, 3 November 2023 (UTC)
  2. Glaucoma UK: nominated at AfD; notified Tsuk23 (talk · contribs) 04:43, 3 November 2023 (UTC)
    • Reason: Fails WP:NORG. Aside from self-published sources, only source comes from the Association of Optometrists (which appear to be some sort of sponsor/interview/invited content). Author of page has apparent COI. Fermiboson (talk) 04:43, 3 November 2023 (UTC)
  3. Vugar Aliyev Amir: nominated at AfD; notified Sabin.K.M (talk · contribs) 02:04, 18 November 2023 (UTC)
    • Reason: Fails NPROF. Only criterion subject could possibly pass is prestigious national awards, but I haven't been able to find much information on the prizes even in their native languages, and hence doubt it counts as prestigious. The sources in the article currently are both primary. Fermiboson (talk) 02:04, 18 November 2023 (UTC)
  4. Mathematical growth: nominated at AfD; notified Pbergerd (talk · contribs) 02:11, 18 November 2023 (UTC)
    • Reason: Student essay. The sources are to a high school textbook, community college course notes, and StackExchange. The content itself is little more than a compilation of the ledes of the relevant main articles, where they exist, and OR (even if obviously factually correct) where they don't. Fermiboson (talk) 02:11, 18 November 2023 (UTC)
  5. Car speed and energy consumption: nominated at AfD; notified Hansmuller (talk · contribs) 12:59, 18 November 2023 (UTC)
    • Reason: Essay. The article is a high school level analysis of air drag, with plenty of OR, and is factually incorrect to boot. See also this discussion. Fermiboson (talk) 12:59, 18 November 2023 (UTC)
  6. Conservative left: nominated at AfD; notified Petru30 (talk · contribs) 01:56, 23 November 2023 (UTC)
    • Reason: OR/SYNTH/possible POV fork. Sources are cited to biased publications (including, in one case, a Japanese source which refers to the magazine of an extremely minor HK party claiming to be "conservative left"). No evidence of use of the term in mainstream media, and the article text characterisation of the concept is also, well, questionably put. Fermiboson (talk) 01:56, 23 November 2023 (UTC)
  7. Hohem: nominated at AfD; notified Voxl (talk · contribs) 02:03, 23 November 2023 (UTC)
    • Reason: Solid NCORP fail. Every single hit one can find on Googe is a PR piece obviously written or paid for by the company, as are all the references. Page author claims to be from NZ, but has this inexplicable interest in Chinese tech companies. No response to previous COI query on talk. Fermiboson (talk) 02:03, 23 November 2023 (UTC)
  8. Liberland Amateur Radio Association: nominated at AfD; notified DelphiColor (talk · contribs) 02:24, 23 November 2023 (UTC)
    • Reason: Obvious GNG failure. All sources are self sources, not a single hit otherwise on Google. Fermiboson (talk) 02:24, 23 November 2023 (UTC)
  9. My.Club: nominated at AfD; notified Fauxjob (talk · contribs) 03:14, 23 November 2023 (UTC)
    • Reason: Fails NCORP. Sources are either passing mention, or stunt pulling caused by the company paying lots of money, from sources of questionable reliability. Fermiboson (talk) 03:14, 23 November 2023 (UTC)
  10. Rohit Mehta: nominated at AfD; notified Anamika Vishwakarma 10 (talk · contribs) 11:38, 23 November 2023 (UTC)
    • Reason: Fails NACTOR. Google reveals various hits on another person of the same name who is a crypto CEO of some sort, and various other actors with the same first name, before this person even shows up (and it's a passing mention in a gossip rag). Sources in the article are gossip or primary. Previously deleted as A7 and G5, though I of course can't see why that is. Fermiboson (talk) 11:38, 23 November 2023 (UTC)
  11. Oracle Academy: nominated at AfD; notified Quality check (talk · contribs) 07:15, 25 November 2023 (UTC)
    • Reason: GNG fail, not clear what other criteria apply (NORG?). All sources are primary.
  12. Sahil Adeem: nominated at AfD; notified Alpha294837 (talk · contribs) 04:31, 26 November 2023 (UTC)
    • Reason: Non-notable. Gossip rags and primary catalogues, or content farms, are the only sources. Fermiboson (talk) 04:31, 26 November 2023 (UTC)
  13. Ivan Sviridov: nominated at AfD; notified Uveque (talk · contribs) 14:41, 26 November 2023 (UTC)
    • Reason: NATH fail. There are no non-primary sources about this athlete that I could find. Fermiboson (talk) 14:41, 26 November 2023 (UTC)
  14. Cyrus Poonawalla Group: nominated at AfD; notified Ramaprabha1 (talk · contribs) 05:04, 28 November 2023 (UTC)
    • Reason: WP:NCORP fail. All google hits are trivial mention (hiring and departure of personnel). See also draft at the same name, which was created when someone moved the article to draft, and the article author recreated an unlinked identical article. Fermiboson (talk) 05:04, 28 November 2023 (UTC)
  15. Islamophobic tropes: nominated at AfD; notified Curious1i (talk · contribs) 05:25, 28 November 2023 (UTC)
    • Reason: Unencyclopaedic topic. We don't make lists of possible views; the broader topic is covered at Islamophobia. Fermiboson (talk) 05:25, 28 November 2023 (UTC)
  16. Vishnu Dental College: nominated at AfD; notified Kasyap (talk · contribs) 07:44, 28 November 2023 (UTC)
    • Reason: Fails NSCHOOL as a for-profit school. No secondary sources with significant coverage available. Fermiboson (talk) 07:44, 28 November 2023 (UTC)

December 2023[edit]

  1. Elsa Shala: nominated at AfD; notified Eron Lushaj (talk · contribs) 01:04, 1 December 2023 (UTC)
    • Reason: YOUNGATH fail. Article has an unlinked draft which has been rejected twice at AfC. Fermiboson (talk) 01:04, 1 December 2023 (UTC)
  2. Turtle Pond Model Yacht Club: nominated at AfD; notified Wmwbva (talk · contribs) 01:17, 1 December 2023 (UTC)
    • Reason: NORG fail. No non-primary source coverage. Fermiboson (talk) 01:17, 1 December 2023 (UTC)
  3. Patsy O'Connor: nominated at AfD; notified R65898 (talk · contribs) 01:35, 1 December 2023 (UTC)
    • Reason: Fails NACTOR. Previously deleted as expired BLPPROD. No secondary sources could be found. Fermiboson (talk) 01:35, 1 December 2023 (UTC)
  4. Vimal Nair Suresh: nominated at AfD; notified Narresh22 (talk · contribs) 05:45, 2 December 2023 (UTC)
    • Reason: NARTIST fail. Not a single non-primary source in sight. Previously deleted for A7. Fermiboson (talk) 05:45, 2 December 2023 (UTC)
  5. JD Allan: nominated at AfD; notified Mr Noble (talk · contribs) 06:04, 2 December 2023 (UTC)
    • Reason: NARTIST fail. Only plausible non-primary source has been the Scotsman. Article is citebombed to hell (for example, I don't think source 7 even mentions the same person). Fermiboson (talk) 06:04, 2 December 2023 (UTC)
  6. Kesho Naik: nominated at AfD; notified PreetKaur.PK (talk · contribs) 03:15, 3 December 2023 (UTC)
    • Reason: Appears to be an hoax. Fictional character from the named book in the article. Am unable to find any other source that mentions it in the slightest. Fermiboson (talk) 03:15, 3 December 2023 (UTC)
  7. Oryx Motors: nominated at AfD; notified Seniorjackfr (talk · contribs) 03:13, 4 December 2023 (UTC)
    • Reason: NCORP fail. All French sources are advertisements and I was unable to find any other sources in English or French. I can't read Arabic, but a cursory google translate of the titles appears to show a similar pattern.
  8. Smile 2 Jannah: nominated at AfD; notified Zoomheroxdpro (talk · contribs) 14:56, 4 December 2023 (UTC)
    • Reason: GNG/NARTIST fail. No secondary, in-depth coverage could be found.
  9. Red Light Management: nominated at AfD; notified Punk Rock London (talk · contribs) 04:11, 7 December 2023 (UTC)
    • Reason: Fails NCORP. 1, 2 are primary sources, 3, 5, 6 are routine coverage, and 4 is an interview. Unable to find any higher quality sources.
  10. Resisting AI: An Anti-fascist Approach to Artificial Intelligence: nominated at AfD; notified Saltean (talk · contribs) 15:09, 8 December 2023 (UTC)
    • Reason: NBOOK fail. All the reviews that could be found are blogs and otherwise not RS, and everything else is primary.
  11. Rishi Amatya: nominated at AfD; notified Phsssttt (talk · contribs) 17:08, 8 December 2023 (UTC)
    • Reason: NPERSON fail. There is only one non-primary source and it is either a passing mention or a potential paid source (given that multiple hits appear to repeat it word for word).
  12. Calah Lane: nominated at AfD; notified Tomdejong14 (talk · contribs) 04:39, 9 December 2023 (UTC)
    • Reason: A borderline NACTOR fail. There are secondary sources, but all of them (except the cosmopolitan source in the article) is a review of the Wonka musical, and anything else which isn't that is an interview (which is also usually in the context of the Wonka role). It smells a bit BLP1E. Most of the sources do meet significant coverage, but since this is the biography of a minor, I'm going to err on the side of putting this up for deletion.
  13. Social-Democratic Workingmen's Party of North America: nominated at AfD; notified SocDoneLeft (talk · contribs) 04:55, 9 December 2023 (UTC)
    • Reason: NORG fail. I do think this is borderline, and a bit of digging is required. The detailed explanation post will come as a long reply.
  14. Kyran Lacy: nominated at AfD; notified Rsimpson786 (talk · contribs) 08:45, 12 December 2023 (UTC)
    • Reason: Fails YOUNGATH. No non-routine coverage.
  15. Companions and Pets Party: nominated at AfD; notified KangarooGymnast (talk · contribs) 00:00, 14 December 2023 (UTC)
    • Reason: NORG fail. (Article is also promotional/POV, but not relevant here.) Source 1 is a primary source, 3, 6 and 7 are passing list mentions. 2 is behind a paywall, so I can't see it (doesn't make a difference if it satisfies GNG criteria). 4 is a copy-paste from the party press release, according to the line at the bottom of the article. 5 is also locked behind a paywall but from what I can see it appears to be an interview. 8 is an obviously non-independent source from the lobby behind the party. Unable to find any additional coverage.
  16. The Oregon Extension: nominated at AfD; notified LeonDias19 (talk · contribs) 00:11, 14 December 2023 (UTC)
    • Reason: Fails GNG. Only non-primary hit is from a student newspaper; all other search results are apparently about an unrelated expansion of the national park in which the program takes place.
  17. Majestic International Company: nominated at AfD; notified Nord-We (talk · contribs) 17:00, 19 December 2023 (UTC)
    • Reason: Very solid NCORP fail. No secondary sources at all, and Gnews goes off about other majestic, international things after the first three or four results.
  18. Natekarwada: nominated at AfD; notified Yateenp (talk · contribs) 00:35, 20 December 2023 (UTC)
    • Reason: NBUILD fail. I could not find any sources at all covering the building online (all hits appear to be wikis/travel websites of sorts).
  19. Eric Chen: nominated at AfD; notified It's dusty again (talk · contribs) 13:31, 27 December 2023 (UTC)
    • Reason: All sources later than the 2018 AfD are either passing mentions or NCRYPTO fails.
  20. Battle for Belgrade: nominated at AfD; notified Antny08 (talk · contribs) 14:09, 27 December 2023 (UTC)
    • Reason: See previous discussion on author talk page. Unable to find any sources supporting independent notability of the ground fighting, as opposed to Operation Retribution (1941). As far as I can tell, no fighting took place in the city itself and the Waffen SS peacefully occupied the town hall.
  21. Mirelly Taylor: nominated at AfD; notified Fox Guardian (talk · contribs) 11:31, 29 December 2023 (UTC)
    • Reason: Last AfD in 2007. Article completely lacks any non-passing mention source. Googling reveals almost all hits are derived from her notable husband, Brian Tee. I am unable to find any independent coverage.
