Jackie Chong Cheng Quan is a fund manager, managing director of JCCQ asset management, a Malaysia-based asset management company with a South East Asia, US and Hong Kong focus. In 2021, it was one of the fasting growing fund management company in Malaysia. Currently, Chong and his team manage 5 other companies which businesses ranging from investment, real estate, solar technology, logistics, utility asset management and healthcare. He is also one of the substantial shareholder of redONE network sdn bhd.

Chong has served as an Chief Investment Officer of redONE network sdn bhd since 2015. From 2021, Chong had founded JCCQ Asset Management, following JCCQ Consortium, JCCQ Solar Technology, JCCQ Logistics Global, JCCQ Energy & Utility Resource and JCCQ Healthcare. He is also a member of the Federation of Malaysian Manufacturers ("FMM") , a member of the Malaysia Economic Association ("PEM"), a member of the Malaysia Mobile Technology Association ('MMTA") and a member of the Master Builders Association Malaysia (“MBAM”).

In 2023, Chong won The Malaysia Book of Record’s “2023 First Telco in Malaysia to launch Online Money Lending platform..[1]" as well as the five-year station naming rights agreement with Prasarana Integrated Development to rename "KL Sentral" to "KL Sentral redONE"[2]

Jackie Chong Cheng Quan was invited to participate in Forbes 30 under 30 Asia for 2022 and 2023, with a net worth of approximately $10Million.

Early Life and Education[edit]

Born into an ethnic Chinese family in Johor Bahru, Malaysia in 1998, Chong attended Sekolah Menengah Kebangsaan Aminuddin Baki, Johor for 3 years and 2 years in SERI OMEGA Private & International school. After graduation, he took up Business Management in University of Reading, and also completed his Bachelor Degree of Supply Chain Management in Raffles University.

During his academic life, he had became the Founding President of Raffles Logistics Club, one of the Largest University Supply Chain Club in Malaysia. During his presidency, he had executed numerous site visitation as president to Port Tanjung Pelepas ("PTP'), Giant Malaysia, Maersk.

Chong had been interviewed by Maersk as part of their global strategic program.

Career[edit]

Jackie Chong is a corporate figure. His experience began in Kuala Lumper, Malaysia where he was appointed as Chief Investment Officer by redONE network sdn bhd since 2015. In 2021, he started his own asset management company which later grew into a conglomerate which consist of a total of 6 companies, ranging across multiple industries.

In 2023, JCCQ Asset Management has Asset Under Management (AUM) of more than RM500Million, marking a milestone for the company's journey.

In May 2023, redONE network sdn bhd had form signed a five-year station naming rights agreement with Prasarana Integrated Development. The event was joined by Tan Sri Goh Tian Chuan[3] which is also the Chairman of redONE network sdn bhd.

In October 2023, , redONE network sdn bhd announced the launch of redCASH, the country's first Online Money Lending platform by a Telecom Operator. redONE has been officially recognized by The Malaysia Book of Records as the First Telco in Malaysia to launch Online Money Lending platform.

He is single and has one elder sister and a younger brother. His mother is the director of redONE network sdn bhd. His father owns a construction company in Malaysia. His uncle, Ben Teh, is the co-founder and group CSO of redONE network sdn bhd.
