I am Edward L. Braun, a Professor of Biology at the University of Florida. My research foci are evolutionary and comparative genomics, computational biology, and molecular phylogenetics. Most of my recent work has focused on the evolution of birds[1], but I am generally interested in the theory and practice of phylogenetics.
