Robert Plarr[edit]

Robert Plarr, a former United States Marine Corp Marine Ranger, has devoted his life to building sustainable, green energy products such as large scale wind turbines to encourage the production of a more ecological friendly environment that is also self- sustainable. His “Science of Sustainable Integration” has led to the invention and execution of several public, utility free, products. [1][2][3][4][5]

Career[edit]

Plarr joined the USMC in 1969, eventually becoming a Recon Ranger and Navy Certified Scuba Diver. Following his stint in the military, he joined the Dorny Park and Wild Water Kingdom.[6] [7]He was named the President of the company in 1985 and held that position until 1991. He oversaw the sale of the company in 1992 at a profit of $48 million dollars. Beginning in 1975, he built three wind turbines, one of which partnered with a local (Pennsylvania) Power and Light utility company to share the power one of the wind turbines generated. The turbine generated enough power that Plarr's company was paid by the utility company for much of the energy it created. [8][9][10]

The very first Hydrogen fueling station in New Mexico was put into place by Robert Plarr and sponsored by the Gas Company. [11] [12]

In 2015 Plarr was named Managing Director Sustainable Structures at Fortis Groep. As a full partner he focused worldwide efforts towards sustainability systems. [13]

In 2016 Plarr teamed up with LIGA, Leader in Green Assets, to deliver affordable sustainable homes across the United States.[14][15]

Other Interests[edit]

Not content with his successful wind turbine projects, Plarr expanded his interests with a goal to create energy products and resources that could be environmental friendly as well as free from dependence on traditional sources such as coal and oil. [16][17][18]

Proprietary Technology[edit]

Listed below are some of the products Plarr has developed. [19]Cite error: There are <ref> tags on this page without content in them (see the help page).[20][21]

  • Floating Bed: A “healing bed” medically proven to help with issues raised by Autism by providing oxygen levels generated by the atmosphere a 100 years ago.
  • Spinning Vortex: This device spins water in a vortex that helps plants grow by increasing oxygen levels and energizing the growth process.
  • Magnesium Oxide and Geopolymers: Toxic free, they eliminate the possibility of the formation of mold and fungus. They are able to withstand temperatures of up to 4,000 degrees Fahrenheit and can be produced to replicate almost any natural substance, including polished marble and wood. They are also salt resistant and projected to last 100's of years.
  • Bio-guard Machine: Included in every “World's Nest” (see below) home, this machine can produce over 60 gallons of water a day. This machine is also used commercially by hospitals, hotels, and the Mall of America.
  • Hydrogen Oxide Machine: Also included in every home Plarr builds, the HOM increases the yields of plants by hydrating the body and is capable of producing over 260 gallons of water every day.
  • Hydroponic Food Growing Towers: These towers have the ability to help their owners grow their own nutrient dense fruit and vegetables indoors year round with exterior temperatures ranging from 20 degrees below zero to over 100 degrees Fahrenheit.
  • Hemp Based Products and Materials: These materials are considered beautiful from an aesthetic standpoint and are durable and functional.

Angel's Nest Show Place and Renewable Research Center[edit]

Founded by Plarr and Victoria Peters in 2002 and located in Taos, New Mexico, the center led to the creation of the first World's Nest home. These homes are designed to be ecologically friendly and completely self- sustainable. [22]Cite error: There are <ref> tags on this page without content in them (see the help page).[23][24]
