I'm a writer, researcher, and long-time contributor to Wikipedia. My interests focus on law, finance, economics, technology, American history, and public policy. I will occasionally engage on pages that are sad and foresaken, especially when they involve an important contribution to our shared history and culture. My background in academia leads me to frequently read boring tomes and studies, seeking evidence to support claims. I judge the validity of such studies based on reputation, relevance, and quality. I

Most of all, I love being a part of the collaborative nature of Wikipedia and the inherent knowledge sharing. Upon submission of my graduate thesis, my advisor welcomed me to the "community of scholars." I see Wikipedia as broader than just a community of scholars. Indeed, Wikipedia is a community of fact-seekers, researcher, pop culture aficionados, life-long learners, and the most important group - the curious. I'm proud to be a member here, and though my participation has peaked and waned over the years, I always welcome constructive feedback. I'm happy to say my HTML has gotten much better over the last few decades!
