Garry-Owen "Macka" McKinnon(born 10 October 1987 in Montana, USA) is an American motorsports competitor and stunt performer who has won championships including motocross and freestyle motocross. he has been riding motocross since the age of 16.

Motocross[edit]

McKinnon has won two motocross racing championships: the 2006 150cc State championship, the 2007 125cc Sydney Supercross Championship, and the 125cc Eastern Creek Invitational. He moved up to the 250cc class in late 2007. McKinnon has never won a 250cc race. He has always raced and competed on Yamaha motorcycles but has however changed sponsors to Kawasaki in late 2011.

Injuries[edit]

“I don’t remember all of my injuries, there has been too many.” – McKinnon Injuries have often taken McKinnon off the circuit for weeks or months at a time. His medical records include: a dislocated shoulder, he has torn his ACL, MCL and meniscus in his left knee, broken his tibia and fibula, he’s had surgery on his right wrist, left thumb once, three on the right knee, one shoulder surgery after breaking his collar-bone which is the most recent accident which left him with the only piece of metal he has in his body.
