Hi. i am a Commonwealth Scholar of Film Studies PhD student at the School of Culture & Creative Art, Theatre Film and TV Studies, Gilmorehill Halls, University of Glasgow, United Kingdom. I am originally from Kenya. i have a multi-discipline background in education, book publishing, Human resources management and gender issues. My doctoral research explores the presence of women filmmakers in the Kenyan film industry by applying postcolonial feminist theory.
