About me

Hi, I'm Babyseal! I was born in Vryheid, South Africa. I have lived in America, in the states of Nevada and Colorado, but now I live in the green and pleasent land of Oxfordshire, England. My favourite subjects are Science, Drama, Geography and Religious Studies.

I have many friends both in the UK and over the puddle we call the Atlantic Ocean, in the US of A. We are all very eccentric in one way or another and all enjoy having a laugh. Our conversations mainly consist of rather random topics.

My father is a geologist and my mother is a teaching assistant. I have a younger brother, too and he is a fan of Formula One racing! He wants to become a paramedic.

Pets

I have one cat by the name of Penny. Her name was originally Penelope and she was rescued by the Blue Cross. She is a tabby cat and loves playing outside and dozing near the window sill. She also has a rather keen interest in decapitating mice...Yuck! She frequently stays out at night, wandering and exploring the near by allotments and trying not to get into fights with the other neighbourhood cats.

I've once owned a Campbell's dwarf hamster called Kiwi. He was a chubby hamster and enjoyed cucumber, sunflower seeds, and tomatoes. He died on the 23rd Decemeber 2004.

I have also owned a couple of Siamese fighting fish, and a carrot called Bob.

Hobbies and Interests

I enjoy reading, drawing, surfing the web, and I like to hang out with my friends.

I also like chatting to friends abroad via Google Talk.

I am also learning to play the piano!

I also believe that shopping should be considered an international sport.

I think that animals are the best, especially seals, cats, and hamsters.

I want to be a Doctor.

I am very much all for saving the enviroment! I believe that trees should be saved and that global warming is having a large effect on our lives.

I try to recycle whereever possible.

The Stage, My Second Home...

The theatre is a palace to me, the atmosphere is electric and you go away yearning to be on that stage, pouring out your heart into a character, just waiting for the round of applause that fills your soul in a powerful surge.

The stage is a whole new world, where you get to leave the stresses of everyday life to become another person. You slip into a character with new life that you make come alive to your audience.

Some are scared to get up in front of people, but I find that when those lights are on you and you get a reaction from the audience it is one of the most amazing feelings in this world.
