User:Ariel Cetrone (WMDC)
Greetings! My name is Ariel and I am the Institutional Partnerships Manager for Wikimedia DC, the regional outreach organization for Wikipedia and the other projects of the Wikimedia Foundation.
In this role, I assist partners in Washington, DC, Maryland, Virginia, West Virginia, Delaware, and beyond with the planning and implementation of collaborative Wikipedia editing events and initiatives such as Wikipedia editing workshops and edit-a-thons. During these events, individuals come together with the goal of improving Wikipedia's depth and accuracy in particular subject areas. These events are often themed or tied to a partner's current goals, collections, exhibitions or festivals. Training for new Wikipedia editors is frequently provided.
I would love to help you plan your next editing event! Please contact me at info@wikimediadc.org.
