  • Problem hint (illegal characters, exists on Commons, etc) does not display after loading LuckyRename. (any change to the filename after it has been loaded triggers the hint to display though)
  • Personal preferences
  • The filename in [[:w:Image:Dark_Knight.jpg|The Dark Knight]] was not automatically replaced. This is probably because of the unusual format, this was found in a 2008 comment on File talk:WALL-E poster.jpg.
  • When a rename media template is removed after moving a file the file may linger in Category:Wikipedia files requiring renaming. This is a Mediawiki issue. It will automatically sort itself out. (could take days as you need to wait for the page to be reparsed) To fix it right away perform a null edit on the file page.
  • If a move fails (which is very uncommon due to various sanity checks, in hundreds of renames it never happened to me unexpectedly), file name replacements are still made.
  • Usage replacement is supposed to be skipped if there is no usage, but it always runs.
  • If a file has no usage moving it would fail, except the bug above canceled this one out. (who said two wrongs don't make a right?)
  • When declining a request (possibly also when making a request) or when a file page links to itself (for example {{Valid SVG}} causes that) a message is shown about an element that could not be found. This only concerns the interface, the edits made are fine. This is planned to be fixed.
  • Replace uses of redirects to a file
  • Collapse option
  • Allow non-file movers to request renames
