Hi, I'm Aafi and my major focus is global Muslim academia and scholarship. I have helped in promoting Mahmud Hasan Deobandi and Jamiat Ulama-e-Hind to Good article status, and have over 12 DYK credits and 15 ITN/RD credits, on this Wikipedia. A few of my articles have been linked on the On this day section as well. I also have a mobile account AafiOnMobile, and before having myself renamed to Aafi, my account was at TheAafi, which is now a doppelgänger account. I also have a work account TheAafi (DCW), which I use for making edits on behalf of the DCW.
My work
I occasionally contribute to RMT, and unfrequently participate in new pages patrolling and review new drafts and articles. I am a file-mover and help with moving files (when I feel so). I am an administrator and a translation administrator on Wikimedia Commons, an administrator on Urdu Wikipedia and a translator administrator on Meta-Wiki and Wikidata. I am also a global renamer and regularly keep Urdu Wikipedia Main Page's "ITN" updated. I also contribute as an VRT agent (global permissions) as well. Although, I have not edited this encyclopedia ever for any sort of financial gains, I still have some conflict of interest.

Muhammad Salim Qasmi - I met him in 2015 at his residence in Deoband during my first ever visit to this town. Old and weak, he was reading a book having it kept too much close to his eyes. I am glad that I have contributed something about this personality on Wikipedia.
