Things you can do

I created this template because I felt it was needed. I only added those characters I knew from the annual books, the occasional comics and the Classics from the Comics I've read. Feel free to improve it if you've got more information that is reliable. Thanks, --Spiby (talk) 18:09, 26 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Constantly changing[edit]

The line-up seems to change every couple of issues! A Dandy reader needs to update this category box. I can't be sure what's current or not, as I only bother with the annuals. Digifiend (talk) 12:11, 23 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Nigel Parkinson, the Cuddles and Dimples artist, mentioned on the Comics UK message board that Bully Beef was back in the comic, and another member of that board identified the artist as Wayne Thompson. I've therefore moved it to current strips in this template, and also updated the Bully Beef and Chips article. I'll pick up next week's issue, and use it to update this template further, since no-one else seems to bother. Watch this space. Digifiend (talk) 00:31, 18 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Have added Beryl the Peril and Bully Beef and Chips to the infobox, as they are both coming back to The Dandy as of next Wednesday. 86.149.106.52 (talk) 15:42, 12 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Also, Blinky, now a semi-regular. 86.149.106.52 (talk) 15:43, 12 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Writers and artists[edit]

I have added this as a section. Dunarc (talk) 20:31, 12 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Hoot[edit]

I have added Hoot to see also as its article indicates that like Sparky it merged with the Dandy.

Whoops! I meant Nutty, not Sparky. Dunarc (talk) 16:33, 17 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]
