Reference to appeals to Arbitration Committee[edit]

I removed the mention of appeals to the Arbitration Committee. We get a fair few appeals that aren't in our service area (CU/OS, arbcom or AE bans, and private evidence) and I have a suspicion that the mention of the Committee in the template were thinking that we were the next "level" of appeal after UTRS. The CU/OS block templates already instruct users to appeal to Arbcom. Arbitration/AE bans would also have an initial presumption to appeal there. Finally, private evidence blocks would probably have a note saying to appeal to the Committee. Feel free to revert if you feel it's necessary to have it in this template. I'd like to have a reason parameter so that the blocked user can know why their talk page access have been revoked, particularly for abuse.

The template would be normal without this parameter. However, if the administrator fills it in, the reason would show up. For example, if the user has had their talk page access revoked for abuse of the unblock template, it would look like this:

Your ability to edit this talk page has been revoked as an administrator has identified your talk page edits as inappropriate and/or disruptive.
Reason: abuse of unblock template.

(block log • active blocks • global blocks • autoblocks • contribs • deleted contribs • abuse filter log • creation log • change block settings • unblock • checkuser (log))

If you think there are good reasons for being unblocked, you should read the guide to appealing blocks, then contact administrators by submitting a request to the Unblock Ticket Request System.
Please note that there could be appeals to the unblock ticket request system that have been declined leading to the post of this notice.
