The result of the proposal was move per request, expedited under WP:SNOW as a thoroughly non-controversial move request that could have been requested at the technical section of requested moves (with a note to preserve the merge history, which has been done through a history swap).--Fuhghettaboutit (talk) 04:04, 9 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Template:Billy Wilder Films → Template:Billy Wilder – This is one of only three film director navigational templates on Wikipedia that does not correspond with the article title. There is no other template for Billy Wilder, so there is no reason to have Films in the template to differentiate it with another Billy Wilder template. The template was first created at Template:Billy Wilder in January 2007 and then independently created at Template:Billy Wilder Films in April 2007, with the two templates merged together in May 2007 at its current location, which is why it cannot simply be moved.
