Perhaps the "in writing" bit should be removed? All appeals will obviously be made in writing, rather than, say, in the form of a YouTube video, so it seems rather redundant to include this. 85.117.21.156 (talk) 13:42, 14 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Not done: please establish a consensus for this alteration before using the {{edit protected}} template. --Redrose64 (talk) 21:10, 14 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Partly done: [1]. However, this is otherwise fine as it is. AGK [•] 16:57, 27 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Can an admin change the e-mail address part? arbcom-appeals-en@lists.wikimedia.org is the mailing list for appeals by blocked or banned users. Thanks Hto9950 (talk | contribs) 15:46, 7 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]

I reverted this edit. ArbCom blocks are made by the committee, and appeals of them are therefore never heard by the subcommittee. See also my edit in September 2012. AGK [•] 12:34, 24 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Well, we'll wait and see if someone that has the template placed on their talk page see if they appeal a block to ArbCom. For the moment, it is 50/50. Hto9950 17:46, 30 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]

May I suggest replacing the word "outwith" with the word "beyond".--KTo288 (talk) 13:54, 6 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]

@AGK: Re. your revert: {{Banned user}}, and {{Sockpuppeteer}} for example. – Joe (talk) 21:20, 7 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry for missing your message! I was thinking of {{checkuserblock}} and all the templates listed at Template:Uw-block/doc/Block templates. And I suppose we are better using all the available space…? Not massively fussed if you want the template to be narrower. AGK ■ 19:42, 21 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]

If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked you should review the [[Wikipedia:Guide to appealing blocks|guide to appealing blocks]] then appeal by [[Special:Emailuser/Arbitration Committee|emailing the Arbitration Committee]] (direct address: ''{{Nospam|arbcom-en|wikimedia.org}})''.

This would not do anything, furthermore please see the WP:Protection policy. CMD (talk) 05:52, 6 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
 Done; the page is indefinitely semi-protected, so adding the template is fine. ⟲ Three Sixty! Talk? Work. 18:13, 2 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
