Template:Infraspeciesbox special/doc

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The rating is based on that for the module it uses.

Usage[edit]

Invokes Module:Biota infobox to allow a special version of {{Infraspeciesbox}} that allows non-standard ranks to be added.

The parameters are generally as {{Infraspeciesbox}}, with the addition of:

  • |infraspecies_rank1_name= the name of an extra (i.e. special) rank to be added to the taxobox, e.g. "Forma specialis", "Pathovar"
  • |infraspecies_rank1_abbrev= the abbreviation of the rank to be used as a 'connecting term', e.g. "f.sp.", "pv." Omit if no connecting term is to be shown.
  • |infraspecies_rank1= the name of the taxon at this extra rank; it will not be automatically italicized, but will be in bold

A second set can be provided using "2" instead of "1" above.
