Why (Taeyeon song)[edit]
- ... that the song "Why", from K-pop artist Taeyeon, was noted for its "powerhouse vocals" with "precise harmonies and an emotional punch", deemed unusual for a typical EDM song?
- ALT1:... that despite reaching number 6 on the Billboard World Digital Songs chart, "Why" was K-pop artist Taeyeon's least successful single in her solo career?

I'm not a fan of DYKs on art consisting solely of reiterating what critics had to say about the art. For this article I'd prefer something like:

- Length, Date, and Copyvio all check. Nom is exempt from QPQ however the cited sources do not directly verify the hook. I went through and verified that this was this musician's first song not to enter the top five of the Gaon Digital Chart however to do so I had to follow the cites of every other song she has released. Further, the cites do not verify that it was her least successful song though it could be inferred from context. I've proposed ALT 2 below. If you were to copy the citations concerning the chart position on the Gaon Digital Chart from the other articles ALT2 would in my estimation be verifiable and good to go. - @TerryAlex: - Unfortunately as I proposed ALT 2 I cannot review it and another reviewer must take a look. Further, while I belive the hook can work and I was able to piece together its citation I am not sure if the relevant cites and information currently exists within the article (if they are not there they will have to be added for the hook to be approved). Alt 3 ... that despite reaching number 6 on the Billboard World Digital Songs chart, "Why" was Kim Tae-yeon's first single not to enter the top five of South Korea's Gaon Chart?
I've added another hook (Alt3) based on Alt 2, however, I'm afraid the information in this hook is not backed by the citation provided. I'm not familiar with how her other songs performed, so I can't know for certain if this was her first single not to make the top five of this chart. If a better reference is added then this could work. FallingGravity 01:04, 25 March 2017 (UTC)
The relevant cites have still not been supplied to make any of these hooks usable at DYK; as this nomination is over three months old now, I'm marking it for closure. BlueMoonset (talk) 22:55, 9 April 2017 (UTC)
