- Source is Dunathan (page 27) "For many years before his death May 26, 1912, Eli Parsons Royce was recognized as the founder and pioneer citizen of Escanaba, Michigan."

- Both the articles are created and nominated on 5 May. So fits in 7 day range. QPQ done. Hook length is within 200 characters. Both the article has more than 1500 characters of readable prose.
- Eli Parsons Royce mostly uses offline books so assuming good faith with them. Remaining online sources support the respective claims in the article. Infobox could be added, if required. I have added a clarification tag.
Nelson Ludington also used offline books majorly. So again have to assume good faith. Ref 18 and 19 does not seem to support its claim in the article. Also, please mention page number for ref 24. - Ref #24 of the large PDF can be found towards the top of the document; Section number 7 of Page 1 in the DESCRIPTION part it reads, Development spread westward and buildings that survived fire and demolition reveal a general progression in age from east to west, anchored by the House of Ludington, portions of which may date to the 1860s, in the 200 block on the east, to early twentieth-century small-scale commercial buildings in the 1600 block on the west. --Doug Coldwell (talk) 13:55, 21 May 2017 (UTC)
