  • New enough, created day of nomination. Long enough by twice. No POV detected, and each paragraph cited by inline citations using reliable sources. The hook is within formatting parameters, and is interesting (music without music.) The hook facts are directly attributable to the cited sources, and is neutral. QPQ complete. No image to check against. I prefer the original hook over either of the ALTs. They each present the same information, but I find the original to most clearly present the information.   • The article needs a copyedit for English grammar before it can go to the main page. There must be a typo in here: The book hymns of monophonic spiritual songs of the same tune tempo were about Christ, God, love, praise, work and growth of their communities. Sentences such as The idea for the hymn book came about to recruit more people because of the western expansion of the Shakers from New York need rewriting, and much of the Description is chatty rather than encyclopedic.   • Thank you. I went through the article myself and did a thorough copyedit. I only double-checked a couple of sources, so please check to see that I wrote the information correctly. Since a book cannot present "tunes", I assume that you're referring to musical notation. Perhaps you would consider something more hooky, such as:
  • ALT3: ... that the hymns printed in the first Shaker hymn book convey the idea that males and females are equal?

  • This article is new enough and long enough and in general meets DYK requirements as noted by 78.26 above. ALT3, ALT4 and ALT5 all have inline citations to reliable sources and any could be used, but perhaps we should go with ALT5 as being equivalent to the original hook chosen by the nominator.
