Disposition Matrix[edit]

  • ALT1:... that the Disposition Matrix, developed by the Obama Administration, allows for the targeted killing of American citizens?
  • Comment: Not a self nomination. Article touches on some potentially sensitive political topics. Recommend it be held till after the U.S. Presidential elections on November 6.

  • Comment: Thanks Allen3 (talk) for letting me know about the nomination! One thing I'd suggest is mentioning that this database not only expands but codifies targeted killing procedures. One of the most important things revealed by the Washington Post series on the subject is that this database will become a permanent fixture of U.S. policy. I therefore would propose this alternative, which is similar but hints towards the above:
  • ALT2:... that the Disposition Matrix, developed by the Obama Administration, expands and codifies U.S. targeted killing operations globally?

  • New article, very large, very well sourced. QPQ not required as not a self-nom. Heavy use of WaPo source led me to run the duplication detector, which comes up clean, as the few instances of repeated text at the top are quotes properly attributed. I'm opposed to ALT1 because of all the POV issues one could imagine, but I feel the main hook and ALT2 are neutral. – Muboshgu (talk) 19:36, 15 November 2012 (UTC)
