Daisy Voog[edit]

  • ... that Daisy Voog was the first woman to summit the Eiger via the mountain's north face?

  • Date, size, refs for the hook, all fine. I would like to see a talk explanation of how this passes a WP:BIO; is any of the cited works dedicated to her? Or is she mentioned just in passing? (Please copy any reply from here to article's talk where others may want to ask this question in the future). --Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus| reply here 09:04, 21 April 2014 (UTC)
  • I'm not sure I understand your question... Are you asking why she is notable? How much literature is focused on her? A quick look at the sources will show you - ref 1 is a PDF compilation of German newspaper cutouts from the 1960s which shows she was the focus of a great deal of media attention; ref 2 is a biographical article about her from a German newspaper; and she is mentioned in passing in refs 3 & 4 (the latter of which is an essay on the significant achievements of women in mountaineering). 97198 (talk) 11:09, 21 April 2014 (UTC)
