Craig Borten[edit]

5x expanded by 97198 (talk). Self nominated at 07:40, 6 September 2014 (UTC).

  • 5x expansion confirmed. Recency of expansion (Sept. 6) also fine. Article is long enough (barely) at about 1700 characters. Article appears neutrally written and uses in-line citations. The hook is short enough and interesting. The hook fact is confirmed by reliable sources cited in the article. However, the sources indicate that the script was re-written and sold again after 1996. So the following alt 1 hook seems more precise:
alt 1 ... that Craig Borten first sold a script for Dallas Buyers Club in 1996, but the film was not released until 2013?
@97198: Please advise if this modification is ok with you. My spot-checking did not turn up any issues with copyvio, plagiarism, unduly close paraphrasing. QPQ has been completed. If 97198 is ok with the tweaked hook, this is good to go. Cbl62 (talk) 20:38, 9 September 2014 (UTC)
Thanks, Cbl62. I agree that your version is more accurate so I've struck the original. 97198 (talk) 07:36, 11 September 2014 (UTC)
  • OK, then, alt 1 is good to go. Cbl62 (talk) 13:25, 11 September 2014 (UTC)
