Colpocephalum californici[edit]

  • ... that the California condor louse became extinct when all remaining California condors were deloused in a captive breeding program? Source: "The extinct California condor louse (Colpocephalum californici) was deliberately killed during the captive breeding of its host the Californian condor (Gymnogyps californianus; Koh et al. 2004)" [1]

  • Article created 31 October; article exceeds minimum length; hook source is behind paywall so I will AGF on that - article supports hook and other sources such as this one support it; Earwig detects no copyright vios and a quick check on a couple of the accessible sources reveals none; article is well written and impeccably sourced; I find the hook really interesting; QPQ carried out - Dumelow (talk) 19:35, 31 October 2017 (UTC)
