Abbie Lathrop[edit]

Lab mouse of strain C57BL/6

  • ... that guinea pigs from the "Mouse Woman of Granby" were used in World War I trenches to detect toxic gas?
  • ALT1 ... that several strains of modern laboratory mice are derived from those bred by Abbie Lathrop?
  • ALT2 ... that Abbie Lathrop's mouse number 57 was the origin of the C57BL/6 (pictured) laboratory mouse?
  • ALT3 ... that the "Mouse Woman of Granby" developed inbred strains of laboratory mice?
  • Reviewed: Alma Dolens
  • Comment: The image is only for ALT2.

  • This article is new enough and long enough. ALT1, ALT2 and ALT3 are all acceptable with inline citations to reliable sources. The image is appropriately licensed, the article is neutral and no copivios were found. Cwmhiraeth (talk) 08:24, 4 May 2015 (UTC)
  • Pardon my vanity, but why did you strike ALT4? EEng (talk) 12:30, 4 May 2015 (UTC)
