Fairness[edit]

It really has to be mentioned that this is according to Muslim viewpoint and not a historical/scientific viewpoint...

What is "this"? The entire article? A specific point? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 99.52.196.186 (talk) 14:40, 21 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Yes, that is true, however, so far this article still does not list the controversies surrounding the questions and doubts that Zaid ibn Thabit was the actual collator and assembler of the Koran. Since Arabic does not get standardized for another 250 years in the later 800s CE, the traditional version of events surrounding the Koran's original compilation are dubious, and bring into question that tradition of its written composition from oral transmission and various scraps of writing that it was originally taken from. its this article, not a specific point obviously because the article would specify if it was a specific point 99.247.27.164 (talk) 17:16, 25 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Zaid (Islamic scribe)Zayd ibn Thabit – This article was moved by User:Imadjafar on 23 January 2011 with the reasoning that "more people can understand". However the most common name used by many sources is "Zayd ibn Thabit" with variations such as "Zaid/Zayd" and "ibn/bin". Therefore I propose we move the article back to the original name. --Relisted JHunterJ (talk) 16:38, 15 May 2012 (UTC) 119.154.43.227 (talk) 12:30, 5 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]
