The profile picture was obtained from the subject for the wikipedia page, given that publicly available pictures have copyright issues. I do not have any COI with the subject. Nanobroccoli (talk) 19:12, 1 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Interaction with the subject (like to get their picture) is a form of collaboration and makes it more likely that further collaboration happened.
The first version of the article you uploaded in 2020 was very promotional. [1]
The version today is still promotional which will need efforts from others to clean up.

Scopus, ResearcherID, and ORCID confusion[edit]

See his Wikidata item for identifier links: Yi Cui (Q83558774)

What is confirmed:

His ORCID is 0000-0002-6103-6352 (this is linked from papers listed on his Stanford Profile)
His ResearcherID is L-5804-2013 (this is linked from his ORCID and is verified on their end)

Scopus confusion:

Searching for Cui, Yi from Stanford on Scopus returns 9 results:
Separating who is who is a disaster, and I don't have full access to Scopus, so sorting out who should be where and submitting a support ticket is not possible with only the Scopus preview.
There are at least 2 people named Yi Cui affiliated with the MSE department; they have even published on the same paper:

One of the Scopus profiles is this one, which is attached to ORCID 0000-0001-8219-1856. That ORCID lists the paper at doi:10.1038/s41565-019-0624-6 as a publication, but the Yi Cui in the author list has the ORCID listed as *-6352, which is the ID of the subject of this article, not the other Yi Cui.

Is anyone able to help me sort out what IDs to list on this page and in Wikidata, and maybe help me draft a message to Scopus and ORCID so they can sort out who's who? BhamBoi (talk) 04:35, 20 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
