Notability[edit]

@Ojorojo: I came across this article while doing CAT:NN cleanup and was about to remove {{Notability}} until I noticed you had undone a similar edit recently. [1], [2], and [3]—all in well-known music publications and currently listed as sources in the article—look like WP:THREE sources to me, so I wanted to ask why you thought this still did not meet WP:NSONG. Hi: I came across this while doing infobox cleanup and noticed that the refs (all from around the time of release) were basically release announcements. I did a google book search[4] and didn't see any mentions, even though five years have passed. So, it appears that it does not meet NSONGS, that is, it has not been "the subject[1] of multiple,[2] non-trivial[3] published works whose sources are independent of the artist and label". The coverage seems more like what one would see from a press release (essentially "It's their first in a long time") and not meaningful discussions or details about the song (background, composition, significance, critical reception, etc.) I thought by tagging the article rather than redirecting or AfDing it, someone might expand it with some reliably sourced material. As it stands, the article basically just confirms the song's existence and does not have encyclopedic value. —Ojorojo (talk) 13:36, 6 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]
