Template:Xavier Riddle and the Secret Museum[edit]

Hello,

I have created a template specifically designed for this show, Xavier Riddle and the Secret Museum. I was wondering if we could take out the PBS Kids original programming template and replace it with the new template. I also need some help on editing it. Thank you!

Something to add to that, I noticed that the season 1 article and the list of episode article (both for Xavier Riddle) are both drafts. I don't really want to show those drafts, so we could probably hold off the template idea for later. --Purplemountainmantalk contribs 01:41, 20 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]

plagiarized from fandom.com?[edit]

The 17 November 2019 edit[1] of this article includes text identical to fandom.com edits made on September 10, 2019,[2] October 6, 2019,[3] and November 9, 2019[4] regarding Yadina.

Without tracking down specific edits, fandom.com descriptions of Xavier,[5] Brad,[6] and Berby[7] are also nearly identical to those characters' descriptions here on Wikipedia.

Never having seen the show myself, i am reluctant to rewrite this article any more than i already have, but i don't want to remove the duplicated text when i'm not sure about the legal technicalities of how Wikipedia and Fandom both require editors to release their contributions. Maybe it's legal for Wikipedia to transcribe or quote Fandom, and Wikipedia just needs to credit those certain Fandom editors?

Thank you for pointing this out. According to Fandom.com's licensing terms, content from the website is released under the CC BY-SA 3.0 license. This means the text is compatible for reuse on Wikipedia, as long as attribution to the original source is provided. Unfortunately, the original editor did not provide attribution when they copied the text from Fandom.com, but I've added {{Free-content attribution}} templates per the instructions at WP:COPYOPEN. This should hopefully provide sufficient attribution. – Lord Bolingbroke (talk) 23:16, 28 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]
