Establishment of the society[edit]
There is an issue with the date the society was established as the different academic journals give the date as either 1858 or 1859. As well as being a content issue, it might mean the article categories need amending in the future. I will do some further research to try to clarify the situation. --WPCW (talk) 21:52, 13 April 2020 (UTC)
- The second issue of the Journal of the Workhouse Visiting Society dated January 1859 states that the society began 6 months ago. Therefore, I have used 1858 as the date it was established. --WPCW (talk) 22:38, 13 April 2020 (UTC)
