Churchill AREA High School[edit]

Here are some corrections to the school's name before it was Woodland Hills High School. Before the creation of the Woodland Hills district in 1981, it was Churchill AREA High School (my emphasis), the high school of the Churchill Area School District. In 1981 the new Woodland Hills district initially had three high schools, of which this was one, now called simply "Churchill High School" (along with Swissvale and Turtle Creek High Schools). So it was simply "Churchill High School" in the early years OF the Woodland Hills district, NOT before that district was formed. Then in 1987 (if the date is stated correctly in the infobox), the district reduced to a single high school, and thus Churchill HS became Woodland Hills High School. BTW the 1984 edition of the Churchill Borough phone directory lists the then-three high schools of the Woodland Hills school district (Churchill, Swissvale and Turtle Creek). Any "reliable" source that contradicts this information is only demonstrating that it's not as reliable as it's cracked up to be. 2601:545:8201:6290:311B:839:B256:B5C7 (talk) 07:18, 15 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]
