Suggested expansion[edit]

Isn't this the reflex that is referred to in the fetal pain debate -- as in, "That's only a reflex; the fetus' violent effort to get away from the surgical instrument during a late-stage abortion doesn't really mean that it is experiencing true pain"? If so, then I think an expansion of this article to connect the concepts would be appropriate. WhatamIdoing (talk) 18:21, 2010 (UTC)
