Proposed merge[edit]

Hanna Rhodecia Bundi does not appear to be notable, except as the wife of William Voyles. There's nothing in her article which isn't also stated in this article, so it's just duplication.

Also check birth date of son Andrew Voyles, which is out of chronological sequence in the table. Should it be 09 April 1780? --Romney yw (talk) 07:36, 30 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Redirected. As noted above, the content exists in both articles. As such, there is nothing to merge so I've just gone ahead and redirected. -- Whpq (talk) 00:14, 31 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Revolutionary War Service[edit]

The only place that I could find his Revolutionary War Service was in the DAR source, which said that he fought for North Carolina. I looked in J.D. Lewis's records for both North and South Carolina and don't find a private William Voyles. Still trying to find out what unit he was in.

There is a William Vowell, 6th North Carolina Regiment, 1776 to 5/1/1776, a Private under Lt./Capt. Thomas White for three years. 9/8/1778, a known Private under Capt. John Sumner (1st NC Regiment). 3/12/1779, re-enlisted for the duration of the war in the same unit.
