Change of Portrait[edit]

I've adjusted the portrait used for the earl, because I believe the one previously in place (File:4thEarlRochford.jpg) is actually a portrait of his father - the 3rd earl of Rochford. That portrait is dated 1735, when the 4th Earl was 18 years old. However the man in the portrait is clearly middle-aged, which would match his father. This appears to be an attribution error originally at Brodrick Castle that has persisted all the way through the Scottish National Trust to Wikipedia. The newly selected image comes via the National Portrait Gallery and is an undisputed portrait for the 4th earl. Cloventt (talk) 08:51, 29 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
