Prose needs work[edit]

I've done some major cleanup on this article, but its prose still needs a good bit of work. Right now, the biography section is just a collection of anecdotes, many of which are in the form "he witnessed (major event)", which isn't particularly compelling reading. After all, everyone alive at that time witnessed the same events. The real question is whether he was directly involved in the events, either as a participant or a correspondent. ~ Jeff Q (talk) 10:01, 31 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

My great uncle[edit]

I hope you enjoy the article about my great-uncle, Will Lang Jr.

I've added some pictures from my grandfather's photo album that were mailed to him by his brother, Will Lang Jr.

Family life?[edit]

The only mention of Lang having a family are these two segments. The first in the section about post-war and the second as a photo caption.

During this time, in January of 1948, his daughter Luisa was born. The Lang family's happiness was cut short in June when they heard of the Berlin Blockade. Lang was able to smuggle his family into France before the borders were closed.

I would think that there needs to be a slight expansion about when he got married and to who. Why did he have to smuggle his family into France? Was his wife a stateless person without papers? Was she a wanted person? Wouldn't his daughter, Luisa, be a U.S. citizen, thus able to get papers?
