When Chuck Jones used the Latinesque "scientific name," "Hardheadipus Oedipus, he skirted the Hays Office by sneaking a reference to "hard-headed mother (expletive)," as Oedipus was known in mythology as his mother's lover! Bill S. (talk) 10:29, 2 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]
