White phosphorus burns at a temperature of up to 2,760 degrees Celsius (5,000 degrees Fahrenheit) with pure oxygen as the oxidizer. The burning temperature is much lower at around 800 degrees Celsius (1,472 degrees Fahrenheit) when oxidized with air instead of oxygen.[1][2][3] — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2601:647:ca00:77e0:4479:5c8b:8325:f5fe (talk) 20:10, 14 May 2022 (UTC)
