I think it's notable that all these other actors were uncredited and that the movie had some of the most popular male stars of the day. Also, the section of "Film Critics" seems a little short. "John Simon of The New Leader wrote 'The mildest thing that can be said about this film is that it is an abomination'.[24]" Is all that anyone had to say about a film that was nominated for several awards.
