Should the full lyrics of the song "Wharf Rat" (which are copyrighted) really be reproduced in this article?

Special exemption, the Dead owe it to these fans.

The Dead "owe it" to these fans? What do they owe? Where is this exemption in copyright law? The dead never told anyone to use drugs, or to stop using drugs.

There primary purpose is most definitely NOT to convince others to live a drug and alcohol lifestyle. They serve as a support group for concert goers who CHOOSE to stay clean and sober at shows. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 98.219.95.87 (talk) 19:39, 8 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I have been talking with Don B., one of the 3 founders of the Wharf Rats.. He says that much of the article is inaccurate and has enlisted my help in editing it. I did want to discuss here before making a major edit. The help of another founder can also be consulted. (Gr8ful_ken) Gr8ful ken (talk) 01:52, 18 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]
