Number of legislators in TMC and BJP[edit]

How can the numbers for AITC can be 195 when the figure after latest defections are 207? No defections have taken place since then?Mrvl2009 (talk) 09:53, 7 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

This article is being vandalised multiple times with false seat shares. I request Wikipedia to take strict actions against those who are continuously and falsely editing the seat share.

Request for semi-protection[edit]

This page is seeing a increase in unproductive edits as well as vandalism due the election result day coming close. I request to semi-protect this page as we can expect large number of unwanted edits in the days coming, especially on result day (i.e. 2 May 2021). There would be users updating info without any sources as well. It would be very difficult to edit the page on 2 May, if this trend continues.

Please do look into the matter. Thankyou! Vsa111 (talk) 16:27, 30 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Please change GJM (Tamang) to BGPM[edit]

Can you change GJM candidate to BGPM candidate in this article? GJM (Binoy Tamang) does not exist anymore as Binoy Tamang and his supporters have joined TMC and Anit Thapa has founded a new party called BGPM.[1] The MLA from Kalimpong who won as GJM (Binoy Tamang) candidate is now the Vice-President of BGPM.[2]

Not done: it's not clear what changes you want to be made. Please mention the specific changes in a "change X to Y" format and provide a reliable source if appropriate. small jars tc 15:51, 5 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]

@Madlibs007 West Bengal assembly website isn't up to date. Changes to seats as a result of defections and bypolls have been done in this page based on reliable sources. Dhruv edits (talk) 16:03, 23 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]
