I think the link to John Murdoch must be wrong. if his birth date is correct on his own page he would have been way too young to have designed the three Wellington School buildings.— Preceding unsigned comment added by 124.179.64.218 (talk)

In his article it says, "He was articled to the architectural firm Matthews and Mackenzie in 1878", and according to this article, "all executed in 1879 to a common Scottish Baronial style by the same architect, John Murdoch", so it could have happened (since he was 17 years old in 1879). The information on the architect derives from the Listed Building entry held by Historic Environment Scotland - but looking at the Dictionary of Scottish Architects (see http://www.scottisharchitects.org.uk/architect_full.php?id=200249) the problem looks to be which John Murdoch, as we have several contemporary Scottish architects of this name ... looks like the link is to the wrong John Murdoch. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Caespititious (talkcontribs) 15:13, 29 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]
