A falsehood[edit]

'The hospital entrance on Vicarage Road is now only used for disabled parking and as a drop-off point for patients' is false. I routinely use the Vicarage Road entrance when I enter and leave the hospital. I am neither disabled nor dropped-off. 31.49.9.243 (talk) 19:19, 23 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]

OK. I have deleted the sentence. Dormskirk (talk) 19:23, 23 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Watford Health Campus[edit]

Watford Health Campus no longer exists. It was "sold" to the public as a combination of three things:

  • a totally rebuilt hospital,
  • a trading estate for companies doing health-related work, and
  • affordable housing.

It is no longer spoken of, having been renamed "Riverside" which is just new flats and houses and nothing more. What was a general-purpose trading estate (on Cardiff road) is now a staff car park). There is to be no new hospital, nor even an improved hospital. Allotments that were on land adjacent to the hospital has been taking for flats and houses. The allotment owners won two court battles to keep most of their allotments (they had voluntarily given up some land), see [[1]], but they lost the third. The whole thing is just a money-making scheme of Kier Group and Dorothy Thornhill. 109.158.6.169 (talk) 16:28, 27 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]
