Home Video Availability[edit]

Could someone add a section on its availability? I can't find out anything about it, though with it being narrated by Audie Murphy and being the film Oswald was watching when he was arrested, someone has to have released it on home video at some point. -Robixsmash (talk) 04:08, 17 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

"honorable mention at Cannes Film Festival in 1961"?[edit]

Aside from the chronological implausibility of a 1963 film being honored in a 1961 film festival, I can find no mention of War is Hell in what records of the Cannes Film Festival that I can locate online. Between the two, I have no choice but to put up a cite request for this statement. --Ted Watson (talk) 22:52, 10 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

11/22/1963[edit]

War Is Hell was not the second feature playing with Cry of Battle at the Texas Theatre. Though Cry of Battle was new and as such War Is Hell may have been the lesser attraction, War Is Hell was played first.

Here is the Texas Theatre advertisement from the 11/22/1963 edition of the Dallas Morning News: image
