Confused statement.
The text says ... and great-great-grandson of John Yonge of Colliton and Devon, a well known merchant in Elizabethan England. ... John Yonge died in 1516 - before Elizabeth was born. So I shall delete it.
There is another John Young (Yonge), (1530-1589) whom Elizabeth Knighted during the Royal Progress in 1574, (Queen Elizabeth I knighting Sir John Young on the steps of his property, The Great House, Bristol, 1910-20 (oil on canvas)) but wiki has no article about him.
