Who changed this in 2002? It could not have been the legislature alone.[edit]

This article now says:

In November 2002, the Vermont General Assembly amended the language of the oath

But this is part of the constitution of the state, so it cannot be changed by a mere act of the ordinary legislature. Perhaps the legislature proposed the change, which the voters then had to approve? Michael Hardy (talk) 20:41, 27 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]
