COVID immunization-related cardiomyopathy not relevant to this article[edit]

I'm looking at the second paragraph of this article and scratching my head. This article is about viral cardiomyopathy—that is, cardiomyopathy associated with and caused by viral infection. Why do we have a section about cardiomyopathy related to immunization with mRNA vaccines?

Cardiomyopathy associated with immunization is discussed, as it should be, in the relevant vaccine articles: Pfizer–BioNTech COVID-19 vaccine#Myocarditis and Moderna COVID-19 vaccine#Adverse effects.

I'm likely to go ahead and remove it (or endorse anyone else doing so) unless I see a compelling argument for why this tangential material needs to be duplicated here. TenOfAllTrades(talk) 17:55, 19 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]

All right, it's been a week without any comment. I'm going ahead and removing the material on non-viral cardiomyopathy from this article, since it's already covered appropriately elsewhere. TenOfAllTrades(talk) 14:31, 26 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]
