Unsuccessful GAN[edit]

This is a good DYK, but it's not comprehensive enough to be a GA (criteria). There are a lot of short sections, some containing one parastub (a one-sentence paragraph), and there is a lot of quoting, not much of your own prose. The references need to be formatting, {{cite web}} is recommended. A few more would help; have you tried Google News?

Gimme a yell if you'd like me to take another look. Cheers, dihydrogen monoxide (H2O) 01:01, 22 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, thanks for the note on my talk. You're right that you've used the template however you should try and fill out as many parameters as possible. For instance, at the moment (for refs 1 and 2, anyway) you're only filling out the url and title. You could easily work out publisher and accessdate, just for a start. dihydrogen monoxide (H2O) 04:10, 23 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Image copyright problem with Image:RAeS Logo.gif[edit]

The image Image:RAeS Logo.gif is used in this article under a claim of fair use, but it does not have an adequate explanation for why it meets the requirements for such images when used here. In particular, for each page the image is used on, it must have an explanation linking to that page which explains why it needs to be used on that page. Please check

  • That there is a non-free use rationale on the image's description page for the use in this article.
  • That this article is linked to from the image description page.

KGC ?[edit]

Please double check! I was not able to retrieve any source confirming General Camporini is a KGC Order of the Crown of Italy, or, in other words, no confirm he received a knighthood from the House of Savoy in exile. By the way, be aware that after Italy became a republic in 1946, the Order of Crown was effectively replaced by the "Order of Merit of the Italian Republic". He is a Knight of the Grand Cross of the republican order, which acronym is "Cav. Gr. Croce", so KGC present day wikilink is unappropriate. --EH101 (talk) 22:47, 23 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]
