Contradictions[edit]

According to the article as it stands, "... first appearing on stage professionally in 1934. His acting career began in London in 1935, performing with Orson Welles's Mercury Theatre". But: (a) His acting career had begun in 1934 if that's when he first appeared on stage professionally. (b) Orson Welles's Mercury Theatre was in New York, according to our article Mercury Theatre.
